Community Fundraising Executive

I am Tracey Jones Community Fundraising Executive.The area I cover is Derbyshire Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire. I have several years’ experience within the charity sector at another national charity. Having started my journey as a volunteer and then progressing to become a community fundraising manager. Due to changes I then chose to go back into the corporate world for awhile however found this wasn’t for me as I missed the excitement that fundraising gives me, so applied and successful joined The Air Ambulance Service.

My role is full of variety with no two days being the same. Whether it be the stewardship of existing supporters to ensure they have a great supporter journey. Helping and supporting volunteers with their Air Ambulance experience, engaging with the public to raise awareness and encourage people to support the charity in some way or another, either by fundraising, taking part in our challenge events , volunteering or leaving a gift in their will etc. Networking and being out in the community forms part of my job role , researching and finding new corporates , groups and associations to come and board and help fund our life saving missions.
