In Memory of Steve Jones

Steve Jones was a devoted husband to Bridget, a loving dad to Sarah and Craig, a treasured son, a brother to Paul, and a proud pops to Ellie and Jenson. He passed away suddenly on Sunday 30th August 2020 after suffering a brain aneurysm, leaving a huge hole in the lives of everyone who knew him.
Steve was the kind of man who made people feel welcome. He was warm, friendly and always ready to help anyone who needed it. He was a well‑known and well‑loved member of Stoke Golding, where he lived happily with Bridget and built strong friendships throughout the village.
Cricket was a big part of Steve’s life. He played for Hinckley Town CC and was known for his enthusiasm, his sportsmanship and the joy he brought to the game. Whether he was on the pitch or chatting with friends afterwards, he loved every minute of it.
Above everything, Steve loved his family. He enjoyed life, valued the people around him and made the most of every day. His memory continues to inspire those who knew him, and he is missed deeply by all.
