At The Air Ambulance Service, volunteers are a vital part of our crew. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, gain experience, support a cause close to your heart or all of the above, we’ve got a role to suit you. From helping in our charity shops to supporting events, joining a project team, or assisting in our offices, every role plays a part in keeping our lifesaving service running.
You don’t need previous experience, just a willingness to get involved and a bit of time to give. We’ll provide full support and training, and you’ll be part of a friendly, welcoming team that shares a common purpose: helping save lives.

I have been volunteering for seven and a half years now as a Community volunteer. My biggest achievements are putting on three film nights at QUAD in Derby, where the first two almost raised the cost of a mission, and the third did!
