A quick response 
to save Penny’s life
Last summer, a holiday to Whitby turned into a medical emergency for Penny, a 19-month-old toddler who had already faced a life-changing battle before. Less than a year earlier, at just 8 months old, Penny had undergone a lifesaving liver transplant at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. But as her family gathered for a relaxing summer break, Penny’s health suddenly took a turn for the worse.

Helimed54 received a call to a cardiac at 16.30pm and were on scene at 16.40pm. Assisted EMAS before conveying patient to hospital for further treatment.
Helimed54 received a call to a fall at 9.40am and were on scene at 9.49am. Patient was treated on scene and escorted to hospital by land ambulance with our crew.
G-TCAA worked alongside Embrace to transfer a patient to Grimsby for specialist treatment in 44 minutes. This journey by land ambulance would have taken over 2.5 hours.
G-PICU worked alongside NWTS to transfer a patient from Manchester to a specialist treatment centre in 1 hour and 31 minutes. This journey by land ambulance would have taken nearly over 4 hours.
Helimed54 received a call to a cardiac arrest at 10.11am and were on scene at 10.29am. Patient was resuscitated on scene and transferred to hospital for further treatment.
Medic53 received a call to an RTC at 00.47am and were on scene at 1.18am. The patient was escorted with crew by land ambulance.
Medic53 received a call to an assault at 19.16pm and were on scene at 19.30pm. Patient was assessed and transported to hospital with our crew for further treatment.
Medic54 received a call to a cardiac arrest at 16.18pm and were on scene at 16.52pm. 2x car RTC with multiple patients who were assessed before being taken to hospital with land ambulance crews.
Medic54 received a call to a cardiac arrest at 13.12pm and were on scene at 13.32pm. Provided critical care interventions to patient before they were land assisted to hospital.
Medic54 received a call to a cardiac arrest at 20.01pm and were on scene at 20.26pm. Patient was resuscitated on scene and taken to hospital by land ambulance with crew.
Medic54 received a call to an industrial trauma at 19.51pm and were on scene at 20.19pm. Patient suffered fractured leg and was sedated to reduce fractures before being conveyed to hospital.
Medic53 received a call to an RTC at 6.33am and were on scene at 6.45am. Patient was taken to hospital by land ambulance with crew.
