A quick response 
to save Penny’s life
Last summer, a holiday to Whitby turned into a medical emergency for Penny, a 19-month-old toddler who had already faced a life-changing battle before. Less than a year earlier, at just 8 months old, Penny had undergone a lifesaving liver transplant at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. But as her family gathered for a relaxing summer break, Penny’s health suddenly took a turn for the worse.

Medic53 were called to attend an RTC at 22.00pm and were on scene at 22.08pm. Patients taken to hospital via land ambulance following collision.
Helimed53 were called to attend a fall at 2.20am and were on scene at 2.46am. Patient fell from height and was assessed on scene before being transferred to hospital.
Medic54 were called to attend an RTC at 22.25pm and were on scene at 22.46pm. Patient was cyclist who was assess and conveyed by EMAS to hospital for further care.
Helimed53 were called to attend a medical incident at 11.38am and were on scene at 12.05pm. Patient fell from tree and sustained back injury. Left with other service to transport to hospital by land ambulance.
Medic53 were called to attend a medical incident at 9.35am and were on scene at 9.54m. Patient sustained injury on farm and was assessed before being left with other service.
Helimed53 were called to attend an RTC at 16.15pm and were on scene at 16.29pm. Patient was cyclist who had sustained head injury. Assessed and conveyed with TAAS to hospital for further care.
Medic54 were called to attend a sporting incident at 19.33pm and were on scene at 20.08pm. Patient assessed and transferred to hospital for further care.
Helimed53 were called to attend a sporting incident at 11.26am and were on scene at 11.40am. Young patient was assessed before being left with other service for further care.
Helimed53 were called to attend an RTC at 9.16am and were on scene at 9.38am. Patient was assessed before being taken to hospital by EMAS.
Helimed54 were called to attend a sporting trauma at 11.54am and were on scene at 12.11pm. Patient was assessed following a horse riding accident. TAAS were first on scene transferred patient by land.
Helimed53 were called to attend a medical incident at 23.50pm and were on scene at 00.06am. Patient in cardiac arrest was resuscitated on scene, stabilised and transferred to hospital for further care.
Helimed54 were called to attend an RTC at 10.08am and were on scene at 10.22am. Elderly patient had hit by car was treated at the scene and accompanied to hospital for further care.
