A quick response 
to save Penny’s life
Last summer, a holiday to Whitby turned into a medical emergency for Penny, a 19-month-old toddler who had already faced a life-changing battle before. Less than a year earlier, at just 8 months old, Penny had undergone a lifesaving liver transplant at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. But as her family gathered for a relaxing summer break, Penny’s health suddenly took a turn for the worse.

Helimed54 were called to an RTC at 16.35pm and on scene at 16.45pm. First on scene to RTC where patient was assessed before being handed over to EMAS.
Medic54 were called to an RTC at 00.29am and on scene at 00.51am. Patient was assessed before being conveyed to hospital with TAAS.
Helimed54 were called to a medical incident at 16.34pm and on scene at 16.50pm. Assisted EMAS with patient who was conveyed with TAAS by land for continued care.
Helimed54 were called to a sporting incident at 10.34sm and on scene at 10.49am. Patient fell from horse sustaining injuries. Assisted EMAS in treatment before patient was transferred to hospital for further care.
Helimed54 were called to a sporting incident at 13.04pm and on scene at 13.21pm. Patient assessed for minor injuries before being discharged by TAAS.
Medic54 were called to an RTC at 19.34pm and on scene at 19.57pm. Patients involved in RTC were assessed and left with other services for further care.
Medic54 were called to a burns incident at 5.28am and on scene at 5.41am. Patient assessed and given critical care for burns injuries before being escorted to hospital by land.
Medic54 were called to a fall at 23.34pm and on scene at 23.55pm. Patient assessed following a fall and sustained head injury before being conveyed with TAAS by land.
Helimed54 were called to a fall at 13.32pm and on scene at 14.05pm. Patient was assessed, treated and left with other service for further care.
Medic53 were called to an RTC at 15.21pm and on scene at 15.29pm. Patient required advanced analgesia before being transferred to hospital by land.
Medic54 were called to an RTC at 22.12pm and on scene at 22.25pm. Patient assessed for minor injuries and handed over to EMAS for further care.
Helimed54 were called to an RTC at 08.22am and on scene at 08.33am. Patient had sustained multiple injuries. Patient received critical care support and transported to hospital by land.
