A quick response 
to save Penny’s life
Last summer, a holiday to Whitby turned into a medical emergency for Penny, a 19-month-old toddler who had already faced a life-changing battle before. Less than a year earlier, at just 8 months old, Penny had undergone a lifesaving liver transplant at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. But as her family gathered for a relaxing summer break, Penny’s health suddenly took a turn for the worse.

Medic54 were called to a fall at 20.03pm and on scene at 20.39pm. Patient fell from height and conveyed to hospital with TAAS for continued care.
Medic54 were called to a fall at 23.48pm and on scene at 00.05am. Assessed and treated patient who had fallen from height before transferring to hospital for further care.
G-PICU worked alongside Nest to transfer a patient to the South West in just 3hr 12mins. This journey by land ambulance would have taken over 8hrs.
Helimed54 were called to an RTC at 17.52pm and on scene at 18.09pm. 2 car collision where one patient was escorted to hospital by land ambulance for further care.
Helimed53 were called to an RTC at 10.20am and on scene at 10.33am. Patient assessed before being left with the other service to convey to hospital.
Helimed53 were called to a medical incident at 12.31pm and on scene at 12.48pm. Patient in cardiac arrest was resuscitated on scene and transferred by land ambulance to hospital.
Medic54 were called to an RTC at 21.06pm and on scene at 21.18pm. TAAS were first on scene and patient was assessed before being transferred to hospital by EMAS for continued care.
Medic54 were called to an RTC at 5.38am and on scene at 6.05am. Patient had sustained serious injuries and was conveyed to hospital by land ambulance.
Helimed53 were called to a fall at 10.25am and on scene at 10.36am. Assessed and treated patient who had fallen and sustained head injury and had seizure. Patient was anaesthetised before being conveyed to hospital.
G-PICU worked alongside WATCH to transfer a patient from the South West in just 1hr 37mins. This journey by land ambulance would have taken 6hrs.
Medic54 were called to an RTC at 16.18pm and on scene at 16.55pm. Patient was assessed before being taken to hospital by EMAS.
Medic54 were called to an RTC at 4.40am and on scene at 4.55am. Patient assessed and handed over to EMAS for continued care.
