Alan Wood passed away peacefully on 21st July 2025, aged 78. A skilled craftsman, proud father and grandfather, Alan was most at home in the great outdoors. He loved walking, climbing, and camping—spending many happy days exploring the hills and countryside.

In honour of his passion for the outdoors and his quiet support for lifesaving causes, the family has chosen to support the Air Ambulance. It’s a service that helps people in the moments they need it most—often in the very places Alan loved to be.

Donations in his memory will help others stay safe in the wild spaces he held so dear.
