The next person who needs us could be travelling home for Christmas, visiting family or simply enjoying time with the people they love.
Their emergency hasn’t happened yet.

Your gift today will ensure that our crews, aircraft, critical care cars, specialist equipment and medicines are ready for the next emergency.
With rising costs, the average cost of a mission is now £2,500. Last December we responded to almost 300 calls, that’s £750,000. So every single donation really does make a difference, helping to fund fuel, aircraft maintenance, medical supplies, equipment and specialist training.
This Christmas, our crews will be at base waiting for the emergency call no one is expecting. When that call comes, every second matters.

Rosie suffered serious injuries after being thrown from the back of a motorcycle when her dad had to brake suddenly.
She sustained multiple fractures and was losing a significant amount of blood when Your Local Air Ambulance arrived.
The crew cared for Rosie at the scene before she was flown to Birmingham Children’s Hospital, arriving just seven minutes later. She went on to spend a month in hospital and underwent several operations during her recovery.
Today, Rosie is back to full health. She plays hockey, rides and has even completed a seven-hour Snowdon trek to raise money for Your Local Air Ambulance.

Over the festive period, while many people pause, gather, reflect or celebrate in their own way, our crews will be at base, ready for the emergency call no one is expecting.
Before a mission even begins, crews check their specialist kit and equipment and ensure the aircraft and critical care cars are ready to respond.
