WHERE we FLY. WHY WE GO

Every emergency is different, but what we bring is always the same: critical care, fast.
Whether it’s a call-out close to home or across county lines, our crews are ready to respond.

Your support keeps us in the air and on the road — when lives hang in the balance.

WHERE WE COVER

Your Local Air Ambulance

At home in five counties

We cover Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland. Across 3,850 square miles of towns, cities, countryside and motorway.

Since 2003, our two services have worked side by side:

  • WNAA (Warwickshire & Northamptonshire)

  • DLRAA (Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland)

Together, they respond to around 10 missions every day.

Beyond the borders
Emergencies don’t stop at county lines and neither do we. In 2024, we flew to incidents in 17 counties. If we’re needed and we’re closest, we go.

Always ready.

Our helicopters hit speeds of 185mph and are packed with specialist kit. On board: critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots, trained to handle whatever they face.

When flying isn’t an option, our Critical Care Cars step in. They:

  • Support nearby missions

  • Cover emergencies when weather grounds the aircraft

  • Run our night car service 24/7, 365 days a year

No government funding. No lottery grants.
Each mission costs £2,500 and every penny comes from people like you.

Every second. Every mission. Every mile.
Together, we save more lives.

When every second counts, we’re there.

From quiet villages to packed stadiums, if there’s a serious emergency, we’re on our way. Fast.

Cardiac arrests. Collisions. Falls. Strokes. Sporting injuries.
Our pilots land where others can’t. Our doctors and paramedics bring hospital-level care to the roadside.

This isn’t just a fast response. It’s expert intervention, right where it’s needed.
That’s the difference your support makes.
