LATEST CORPORATE NEWS

A new partnership for National Children’s Air Ambulance

We are kicking off in July 2025 a brand-new partnership with the John Lewis Distribution Site in Milton Keyes.  To celebrate this Jenny Standen joined them for their Partners Day Event. It was great to meet a wide cross section of the warehouse team.  Such a good way to really fire up working together. The water sponges were a real highlight!

It was a lovely surprise to also receive additional raffle money from them totalling £342 from an earlier in house activity they ran. We will also put the clothing gifts they donated to good use in our stores.

The funds raised will support the work of our National Children’s Air Ambulance. We can’t thank John Lewis enough for working with us and raising these vital funds.  We look forward to a long and exciting partnership together.

”Having the Air Ambulance at John Lewis Magna Park for the day during our Partnership Week was a great opportunity to introduce the Charity through a fun and educational experience. This marks the beginning of the journey between John Lewis and the National Children’s Air Ambulance and I am excited to see how this partnership evolves over the coming months!”

– Adam Vickery – Engagement & Well Being Section Manager

A generous gift from Rugby Wickes

Wickes have very generously gifted us 40 sets of Ear Defenders today through their Rugby Store which is just a mile up the road from The Air Ambulance Service head office.

Manager Kev and his team have been so kind as to donate these so that we can support neurodivergent customers to enjoy our national network of Children’s Air Ambulance shops as well at events where we have our helicopter landing. All part of our drive to be fully inclusive!
Thankyou once again and we look forward to working with you again in the future.

GXO Logistics Names NCAA Charity Partner for 2025

We’re thrilled to announce a new national partnership with GXO Logistics, the UK’s largest logistics firm with over 150,000 employees. GXO has chosen us as their Charity of the Year, and we’re proud to be working with them to support critically ill children across our home counties.

This exciting collaboration is already off to a flying start. GXO teams are:

Hosting pop-up shops in their depots to sell our merchandise

Taking our mascots, Blade and Peggy, on a national depot tour to raise awareness

Launching a company-wide raffle to support our work

Planning to take part in our Go Green Together campaign this autumn

During a recent visit to GXO’s Magna Park depot in Leicestershire, we delivered merchandise and raffle prizes to kickstart the partnership. The energy and enthusiasm from their team has been inspiring.

Natalie Chadwick, Transport Operations Manager at Magna Park, shared:

“The air ambulance service provides a lifeline for families in their most critical moments, offering swift medical care that can mean the difference between life and death. Their crews of paramedics, doctors, and pilots are on call 24/7, ready to support critically ill children. We’re proud to partner with this incredible charity and support the vital work they do in our community, helping to ensure they can continue to save lives.”

We’re incredibly grateful to GXO for their support and look forward to everything we’ll achieve together.
