In Memory of

James Giltrap

James Giltrap was born on 11th May 1977, and passed on 4th April 2019. He was a cherished friend who will be deeply missed by friends, family and colleagues.

James' story

James was a true gentleman, he always had a smile on his face, and was loved by everyone that met him. He had a personality as bright as the sun and a heart just as big. A member of the motorcycle community, he was well known for being late for rides, and turning up with little or no fuel, a tradition only he was to get away with. We always knew when the weather was going to be good because James would come out of hibernation, as we called it. A lovely guy who will be deeply missed by everyone. Ride free my friend, until we meet again.

What is a gift in your will?

Legacies, also known as gifts in Wills, have a profound impact on our charity, funding 1 in 7 of our lifesaving missions. Legacies are another way in which you can honour a loved one’s memory and that gift allows their memory to live on long into the future, allowing us to save lives of future generations in their name. If you have included such a special gift in your Will, you can now show that on your loved one’s page with a pledge, or you can request to learn more about legacies with our free Gifts in Wills Guide.
