In Memory of

Allan Charles

Scotsman, farmer, biker, policeman, driving instructor, accordion player, musician and devoted family man.

or

Allan's story

Allan was a devoted Husband, Dad, Father in Law, Grandad, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. Allan will be remembered as a Scotsman, farmer, biker, policeman, driving instructor, accordion player and musician. His easy going, kind and affable personality combined with a cheeky sense of humour brought him many friends. He touched so many people in his long and very happy life. Allan loved anything that flew and had a particular admiration for the Air Ambulance that he regularly saw flying over his family home in Long Itchington, Warwickshire. He would be thrilled if a collection could be made to this outstanding charity under his name.

What is a gift in your will?

Legacies, also known as gifts in Wills, have a profound impact on our charity, funding 1 in 7 of our lifesaving missions. Legacies are another way in which you can honour a loved one’s memory and that gift allows their memory to live on long into the future, allowing us to save lives of future generations in their name. If you have included such a special gift in your Will, you can now show that on your loved one’s page with a pledge, or you can request to learn more about legacies with our free Gifts in Wills Guide.

  • I have really fond memories of Allan from my days living in Long Itchington, particularly whilst at the two schools in the village. Sadly I didn't learn to drive with Allan (he was just too popular!) but I got to hear about much of the fun and games via Stuart, Shep, Russ, Alex, Pratty and the gang. Thinking of you all from down here in Cornwall.
