Wealth management firm supports national children’s charity

The Children’s Air Ambulance (TCAA) is pleased to announce its new partnership with Moneytree Wealth Management.

The Children’s Air Ambulance is a national service, changing the face of paediatric and neonatal care through the high-speed transfer of critically ill babies and children – flying them from one hospital to another for specialist care. The clinically designed helicopters provide a flying intensive care unit for babies and children.

Moneytree Wealth Management, which is based in Chester, chose the Children’s Air Ambulance as its national Charity of the Year after reading about the lifesaving support they offer to children and their families.

To help with saving many children’s lives, the team at Moneytree have set up a monthly standing order of £150 a month to be donated to TCAA over the next 12 months – totalling £1,800.

Director of Moneytree Wealth Management, Tom Lenton said this about the company’s reasons for supporting TCAA:

“They can transfer critically ill children and babies to other parts of the country to receive the specialist care they need, when travelling by road would likely result in severe complications. To learn of all that they do without government funding was astounding and we decided we wanted to help.

“We are a close-knit financial advice firm who recognise the importance of family both in our own lives and the lives of our clients and felt that the Children’s Air Ambulance’s mission resonates with our values and priorities.”

Moneytree works with clients to provide a financial plan specific to their needs for their future. They provide tax-efficient, long-term financial planning advice that makes use of existing provisions and tax allowances available.

Commenting on the new partnership, TCAA Community Fundraising Executive, Kim Wright said: “I am elated that the team at Moneytree Wealth Management have chosen to support the Children’s Air Ambulance as their Charity of the Year.

“Our lifesaving service receives no government funding, so we are incredibly grateful for the support, from individuals and businesses alike, as we depend wholly on these wonderful partnerships and donations to keep our vital service flying.”

The funds donated by the Moneytree Wealth Management team will go towards further developing the Children’s Air Ambulance, including implementing new bespoke equipment onboard the aircraft to further support the NHS.

“We agreed as a team that we hope we never need to use the Children’s Air Ambulance’s services, but certainly want to support it so that it can continue to offer a lifeline to any families who need it,” concluded Tom.
