Warwickshire hotel gives local lifesaving charity vital support

Brandon Hall Hotel has raised an incredible £2,148.37 in support of the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA).

Last year, the Warwickshire based hotel held its annual Christmas light switch on with all proceeds going to WNAA, as well as providing the dedicated air ambulance crew with Christmas dinner on Christmas Day.

The event was a roaring success with hundreds of people in attendance. There was a special appearance from Santa and even a visit from the crew in their new Critical Care Car.

After presenting the cheque, the team at Brandon Hall Hotel have decided to continue supporting WNAA, whose crews are currently continuing their lifesaving missions through this unprecedented period, providing vital, critical care support to the NHS.

Nick Byrne, Hotel Operations Manager, said: “We have decided to continue working with WNAA as we have enjoyed the partnership we’ve developed with them.

“It is important for us to support a very worthwhile, local charity and the air ambulance have been great to work with.”

Senior Conference and Events Co-Ordinator, Sophie Allen added “Our team at Brandon Hall are very excited to be working with WNAA – raising money for such a great charity and cause.

“We would love to continue to raise money and look forward to hosting more events in the future.”

This year, the team at Brandon Hall have already thought about other ways they can support their local air ambulance alongside the next Christmas light switch on.

WNAA Fundraising Executive Lee Bunting said: “Brandon Hall Hotel has been a pleasure to work with, the team have been so pro-active and versatile in their fundraising for us.

“I am delighted that they have pledged to continue supporting our service as we aren’t government funded so we rely solely on generous donations and support like theirs, and I look forward to continuing working with them.”
