Warwick charity boutique celebrates funding more than 800 lifesaving missions

Your local air ambulance charity boutique store in Warwick is celebrating funding more than 800 lifesaving missions for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA).

The charity boutique opened its doors on 10 August 2012 and is situated in the historic town of Warwick, with a selection of new and pre-loved items available. Over the past twelve years the store has generated an incredible £1,908,517.03 worth of sales for the charity – incredibly funding more than 800 lifesaving missions throughout Warwickshire and further afield.

The store has also received 91,701 bags of donated goods but continues to require support from the local community with further donations of new and preloved items, as these provide vital income for the charity.

Within minutes, WNAA’s critical care crews can be on the ground delivering pre-hospital emergency care and giving patients the very best chance of survival – this vital service relies entirely on donations to raise the £2,300 needed for each rescue mission, as the charity receives no government or National Lottery funding.

Store Manager Claire Murray said: “We would like to thank everyone for their support over the past twelve years, as without this the charity wouldn’t be able to provide pre-hospital critical care to those who need it most.”

“Please continue to donate your unwanted items to our store as every penny raised goes towards funding further lifesaving missions in Warwickshire and further afield,” she added.
