TCAA Director Heads Up Aviation Panel

A leading figure within The Children’s Air Ambulance (TCAA) has been invited to head up a discussion panel at next month’s 2019 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE).nnDirector of Operations Richard Clayton will spark debate on social responsibility and how business aviation can continue to support communities and governments in fulfilling critical missions that benefit society.nnEBACE organisers commented: “We believe that TCAA’s perspective and contribution to the discussion would provide an important insight.”nnLast year, under Richard’s leadership, TCAA concluded a six-year project by introducing two new, bespoke aircraft as the first and only dedicated paediatric and neonatal transfer helicopters in the country.nnSince 2012 the charity has completed more than 350 missions and now operates two AgustaWestland 169 aircraft from Doncaster and Oxford. The bespoke equipment on-board includes a unique stretcher system and clinical interior, incubator and extra seat for a parent to be able to accompany their child. These state of the art facilities make the helicopters second to none in the provision of paediatric and neonatal transfers.nnThe conference will take place from 21-23 May in Geneva and will bring together business leaders, government officials, manufacturers, flight department personnel and people involved in nearly every aspect of business aviation.
