TalentTech make local lifesaving service their Charity of the Year!

The team at Warwickshire-based TalentTech Recruitment, a specialist Technical and Technology recruitment consultancy, are proud to announce they will be working in partnership with The Air Ambulance Service throughout 2020 as their ‘Charity of the Year’- helping to raise vital funds to keep our crews attending lifesaving missions.

As Nick Goodwin, TalentTech Director, explains, “The Air Ambulance Service works tirelessly to save lives throughout the local and wider community, despite receiving no government funding, so we are extremely enthused to do all we can to help such an incredible charity.”

The TalentTech team have lots of events lined up over the forthcoming months, to put their fundraising plans into action.

John Ahearne, TalentTech Director, elaborates: “We are delighted to support such a great cause – you never know when you might need them yourself – and we’ve set ourselves a target of raising enough money to fund at least two missions in 2020.

“It’s ‘Mission Possible’ in our eyes. Nick and I are currently in the midst of a sponsored weight loss, which is going well despite the odd ‘hangry’ moment here and there! And we are very much looking forward to competing in the forthcoming Stratford Triathlon in May.”

The rest of the TalentTech team will put their acrophobia to one side in July as they take to the top of Coventry Cathedral in their vertigo-inducing abseil. And the team have many more ideas to help our charity, which receives no government funding, throughout the year, such as volunteering in a local Air Ambulance shop.

Nick sums it up, “Every member of TalentTech has committed to help Air Ambulance and its amazing team, and network of volunteers, to make a real difference. Bring on the challenges, we’re ready for you!”

Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Fundraising Executive Lee Bunting said “I went and met with the TalentTech team to discuss with them the ways they can support us over the coming year, and I was immediately impressed by their ideas and passion for supporting our charity on all levels, from Triathlons down to bucket collections and volunteering opportunities.

“They have set themselves a fundraising target of £3,400 and I have no doubt in my mind that, with their passion and dedication, they will certainly meet it. I would not be surprised to see them exceeding it. I look forward to working with their team over the duration of this year and we are very appreciative of their support.”
