Stratford-upon-Avon estate agent’s support for local lifesavers

Supporting the local lifesaving Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) since September 2019, Kennedys Estate Agent’s donations have reached a phenomenal £16,925.

The independent, family-run estate agency provide an outstanding property selling service to Stratford and the surrounding villages and they have been donating 5% of each house sale fee to the local charity – which provides vital care to the people of Stratford and beyond.

“We support the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance charity because they provide an essential service to the community, and any one of us could need to call on their crew one day,” expressed Nikki Kennedy.

The Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance crew bring an expert level of pre-hospital emergency care and rapid response to trauma and medical emergencies, the dedicated critical care paramedics and doctors on-board are able to perform out of hospital surgical procedures from thoracotomies and caesareans to amputations by the roadside – effectively bringing the hospital to the patient.

“We all need to make sure we play our part in keeping the lifesaving service going,” added Nikki.

With each mission costing the charity £1,700, Kennedys Estate Agent’s £16,925 donation has funded almost ten potentially lifesaving missions.

“The support of our local communities and businesses is so important to our charity as we receive no government or national lottery for our daily missions. I’d like to say a huge thank you to the wonderful team at Kennedys Estate Agents for their generous donations and continued support – which goes towards keeping our vital service operational,” said George May, Community Fundraising Executive for WNAA.

“Our crews are available, 24/7, 365 days a year, so support like this means that we can continue to deliver our lifesaving, frontline critical care to those who need it most,” added George.
