Our #TheCrew Fundraiser Calls for Showman Support

Matthew White is hosting an afternoon of entertainment to raise money for the Children’s Air Ambulance.

Matthew’s mum Kathryn said: “We’ve often supported the Children’s Air Ambulance by filling the charity shop bags with donations.

“Matthew has now picked up on that and shown an interest in raising money for the charity.”

The eight-year-old, who attends Ketton Primary School and is a member of Wildcats Theatre School, will take to the stage himself to sing and dance to tracks from The Greatest Showman.

He has been busy perfecting his routine and his costume is on order ready for the big day. But he is also looking for others to join him.

The event will take place at Chater Lodge Care Home in Ketton on Saturday, October 12, at 3pm. Staff are providing a room free of charge.

Any singers, dancers, musicians or comedians who would like to join Matthew on his fundraising mission are welcome to get in touch.

The family also plan to host a cake sale and are looking for bakers to help out with donations.
