Northamptonshire business helps to support charity’s lifesaving missions

National Accident Helpline, part of the NAHL Group has raised vital funds to support the lifesaving missions of the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA).
National Accident Helpline are the UK’s leading provider of personal injury advice, services and support. With 31 years’ experience, they’ve helped more people injured in accidents than anyone else.
A team of employees from the National Accident Helpline working in a variety of departments including Legal, Customer Service, Finance, Marketing and HR chose to raise funds to support the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance as part of their ‘Pathway to Leadership’ course.
They had an initial target of £750 but managed to smash this and raise a total of £2,418 with a bake sale, made to order bagel deliveries in the office, a guess the weight of the cake competition, ‘Marching into Spring’ challenge to get the office moving, guess the name of the gonks and day in the sun on Skegness beach helping to clean up the rubbish.
The total amount raised will also be matched by the company, bringing their amazing total to £4,836.
“We chose to support the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance as we wanted to support a local charity and through our work, we know how important their missions are,” said Jessica at National Accident Helpline.
“Thank you to all the employees who either took part in the fundraising or helped us to achieve this amount for the local lifesaving charity,” she added.
Within minutes, WNAA’s critical care crews can be on the ground delivering pre-hospital emergency care and giving patients the very best chance of survival – this vital service relies entirely on donations to raise the £2,300 needed for each lifesaving mission, as the charity receives no government or National Lottery funding.
Karen Hughes, Community Fundraising Executive for Northamptonshire said:
“We would like to thank National Accident Helpline for choosing to support our charity, as without support like this our lifesaving missions wouldn’t be possible.”
“With support just like this it means our crews are able to provide pre-hospital critical care to those who need it most 24/7, 365 days a year,” she expressed.
