Northampton business holds annual fundraising challenge to support vital charity

Franklins Solicitors are holding their annual corporate £50 fundraising challenge to help support the lifesaving missions of the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA).

With offices in Northampton and Milton Keynes, Franklins Solicitors are a leading law firm in the region, offering a wide range of legal services for personal and corporate needs.  Their dedication to offering clients a first-class service has earned them an Excellent rating on Trustpilot. This, coupled with their work in the local community, meant that they were recognised with the Legal Firm of the Year Award at the NBEA Awards last year.

The Franklins £50 Challenge has been running annually since 2018. This year, this large-scale fundraising event will benefit twelve chosen charities, with the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance being one of them.

Each charity needs to recruit at least five business who will each take £50 and increase this as much as they can between 24 February and 23 May 2025 – with the funds helping to keep the lifesaving missions of the local charity possible.

“Last year we managed to help raise over £35,000 between forty teams for eight charity partners and we are expecting to exceed that total this year. For 2025 we have sixty-one teams supporting twelve charities, so this should be very achievable.” said Rosanna Stimson, Marketing Manager at Franklins Solicitors.

“We would like to wish our chosen charities the best of luck with the challenge, and we hope that the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance can raise vital funds to support their lifesaving missions in Northamptonshire and further afield,” she added.

Within minutes, WNAA’s critical care crews can be on the ground delivering pre-hospital emergency care and giving patients the very best chance of survival – this vital service relies entirely on donations to raise the £2,300 needed for each rescue mission, as the charity receives no government or National Lottery funding.

Community Fundraising Executive for Northamptonshire, Karen Hughes said:

“We would like to thank Franklins Solicitors for choosing us as one of the twelve charities to benefit from their fundraising challenge.”

“We receive no government or National Lottery funding for our vital missions and rely entirely on donations from local businesses and the community to keep our charity saving lives,” she expressed.
