Breathing Space, based in Leeds will be raising further vital funds to support the lifesaving missions of the Children’s Air Ambulance (TCAA).
Breathing Space is a HR consultancy firm based in Farsley, Leeds. They are a team of HR professionals who share passion and strong ethical values, especially when it comes to supporting charities like the Children’s Air Ambulance.
The firm have been supporting the children’s charity since 2022 and have raised an incredible £12,000, showing that partnerships with companies such as these provide vital support to ensure the Children’s Air Ambulance can continue to provide lifesaving transfer missions.
On 11 July 2025 Breathing Space will be hosting a charity golf day at Cookridge Hall Golf Club, Leeds to build on their phenomenal fundraising total over the last three years. The day will include eighteen holes of golf, refreshments and a charity auction, as well as incredible prizes for a hole-in-one including £6,000 cash, £2,000 golf break voucher, two-night stay for four at Marriott Forest of Arden and a TaylorMade Qi10 Max Driver.
“We’re really proud to keep supporting the Children’s Air Ambulance with our annual golf day. It’s a fantastic cause that means a lot to us, and the day itself is always such a fun way to bring people together and raise money for the lifesaving work they do for critically ill babies and children across the UK,” said Suzie Bogle, MD at Breathing Space.
The Children’s Air Ambulance is a charity changing the face of paediatric and neonatal care through the high-speed transfer of critically ill babies and children – flying them from one hospital to another for specialist care via the clinically designed helicopters, which provide a flying intensive care unit for babies and children.
The charity works alongside 11 NHS Clinical Partner Teams across the UK, including Embrace Yorkshire & Humber Infant & Children’s Transport Service, part of Sheffield Children’s Hospital NHS Foundations Trust.
Cherry Crane, Community Fundraising Assistant for the children’s charity said:
“We are extremely grateful to Breathing Space their continued support over the years, and we couldn’t continue our charity’s lifesaving missions without businesses just like this.”
“We receive no government or National Lottery funding for our lifesaving missions and rely on donations from the local community and businesses to raise the £3,600 needed for each mission for critically ill babies and children across the UK,” she added.
