THANK YOU TO THE RUGBY POLICE BOWLS CLUB
The Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance would like to thank the Rugby Police Bowls Club.
The Rugby Police Bowl club have spent the past year raising vital funds in memory of a former player and tourist Roger Sirett.
The Secretary Rosemarie Geden and The Chair Dave Owen of the Rugby Bowls Club came to visit our head office in Rugby to give us a cheque for a very generous amount of £1,256.60. Dave and Rosemarie explained that they raised the funds through various activities throughout the year including raffles and a BBQ event. Rosemarie has said, “I would like to thank our members and tourists, for their generosity over the last 12 months. Dave added; “We are a small club with only 28 members, many of whom play for other clubs throughout Warwickshire, with our players coming from as far afield as Solihull and Nuneaton. The club over the past thirty years has raised thousands of pounds for local charities. With this being the third time that we have supported the Air Ambulance Service in that time”. A massive thank you to the Rosmarie & Dave and everyone who helped raise money for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
