Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance

Would like to say a huge thank you to the Big Rescue Event 2018. On 14th September, Chris Wyatt and Andy Fielding, of CTS Forestry and Arboriculture in Kineton, hosted an aerial rescue training day, held at Compton Verney, Warwickshire. The event was well attended, and all tickets sold out in very quick time. All funds that were raised were donated to WNAA, and the total amount was an astonishing £10,837.24.

Chris Wyatt, Managing Director, Senior Arborist & Lead Instructor of CTS Forestry and Arboriculture, said “The event was a massive experience for us, and it was nice to raise such a great amount of money for our local Air Ambulance. The day took a lot of planning and organising and it was such a great success. A huge thank you to everyone involved with the event; all who supported it, all of the companies who generously donated to it, all of the assessors who gave up their time for free and to all of the climbers who attended and took part in the day.

A special thank you to Toni Tipper, whose contribution and support was pivotal to the event being the success it was and also to Emma Allen and all at Stein, who were incredibly generous in their support and were vital when it came to raising awareness of the day. Watch this space for the Big Rescue Event 2019”.

Lee Bunting, fundraiser for WNAA, added “What an incredible donation from Chris and all involved with the Big Rescue Event 2018. I was honoured to be present on the day and was amazed at seeing the work that Chris and his colleagues in their field do. It was a huge eye opener for me and it was a real pleasure to be invited to join them and be a part of it. Thank you so much to all of you for raising much needed funds for us”.
