Thank You Mark Dickens and Mark Fradley
Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance are saying thank you to two intrepid cyclists after they took part in the Great Notts 100 mile bike ride.
The two Marks raised £638 to put towards our lifesaving services, in memory of Mark Dickens’ uncle Gill Owen.
Mark said: “The recent passing of my uncle Gill Owen, who was a lifelong supporter of the service, prompted me and my ride buddy Mark Fradley to try and raise some money on his behalf so we took part in this year’s Great Nott’s 100 mile bike ride. It was a soggy start but the sun came out and dried us off and it was a great day with lots of characters (ourselves included of course). We managed to raise £638, had a great time, met a few new friends and are already planning for next year.”
