Thank You Forest Holidays

The Forest Holidays support centre team based in Moira, Derbyshire raised an amazing £652.50 for their local air ambulance with their recent 24 hour triathlon challenge.  They cycled, swam and ran a total of 721 miles within a 24 hour period – the same mileage as the crow flies visiting their 9 locations from Strathyre in Scotland to Deerpark in Cornwall.

Twenty seven team members took part on this event on the 7 October at Champneys, Springs – who kindly donated the facilities for the event.  The team finished at 7.53am – seven minutes ahead of schedule!

Sarah Elphick, loyalty and partnerships manager at Forest Holidays said: “It was a fantastic team effort; everyone worked really hard to ensure the challenge was met.  We had team members who hadn’t done any exercise for years take part and it has actually encouraged them to get more active.  The local air ambulance is such a worthy cause and we are delighted to raise money for you during this grueling 24 hour event.”

If you would like to donate to the Forest Holidays 24 triathlon challenge it is not too late.  Please visit and help the team reach their annual £10k target by the end of the year.
