Thank You BFOM
This year’s festival raised the biggest donation yet!
The Brackley Festival of Motorcycling (BFOM) turned Brackley High Street into a motorcycle performance arena.
The rest of the town center was filled with the sights and sounds of the display bike paddock, a custom bike show and bike manufacturers.
Roger Charlesworth, BFOM treasurer, said: “The number of people paying to see the events inside the grounds helped us give Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance our biggest donation to date and we can’t thank everyone enough.
The fundraising for the air ambulance also continued in a way of a ride in to the festival,
Tracy Grunwell, fundraising manager, said “We can’t thank Brackley enough for all their continued support. £22,050 helps us with 12 missions – that’s potentially 12 lives saved! The support is incredible and we thank everyone for attending the day and making it so special.”
