Thank You Autogrill
Staff working at Autogrill Catering outlets at East Midlands Airport have been thanked for supporting the lifesaving work of the local air ambulance charity.
Last year £1,845 was raised in Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA) collection boxes in all the bars and cafes Autogrill operates at the airport and to the end of July this year just over £1,300 has been collected.
The charity’s fundraising manager Collette Richardson and volunteer John Burney went to the airport to present Autogrill staff with a special certificate in recognition of this.
“Every mission we fly costs £1,700 and as we receive no government funding donations like this play a vital part in keeping us operational and saving lives, “says Collette.
