There were many attractions, activities and culinary delights including a licensed bar from Nutbrook Brewery, Jane’s Cider Bar, Hog Roast and Pizza Oven, cakes, craft stalls, wood turning, sheep shearing, pony rides, face painting, birds of prey, farm tours and live rock bands Pea Shooter, Mr Wolf, Corey Hind, The Modest, Tom Rhodes, Pigeon Pie, Acoustic Union, DJ Tobias and many more
Volunteer Richard Fletcher said “I would like to personally thank everyone for their fantastic support to make this event truly amazing. This year the weather had its ups and downs but this didn’t deter the crowds, we also had some very special guests including Pauline Latham OBE, the Conservative MP for Mid Derbyshire, Danny Evans our Critical Care Paramedic and Dr Ben Taylor, who brought the Night Car, Mark Vallis from Derbyshire Blood Bikes, Martyn Bell, Paul Green and the crew at Ilkeston Community Fire Service. The 16th Ilkeston Scout Group also volunteered to help made this event so special.
Thank you again from everyone at the air ambulance – without you, we wouldn’t be able to continue our lifesaving work.
