Thank You County Air Ambulance Trust
The County Air Ambulance Trust (CAAT) has given a huge boost to Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) by donating £25,000 to help upgrade its helicopter. This will enable expertly equipped crews to fly further, more frequently, delivering even faster response times so they can continue to save more lives across Warwickshire and Northamptonshire.
Robert Bertram, Chief Executive of the CAAT HELP Appeal said:
‘When we saw the opportunity to help upgrade Warwickshire and Northamptonshire’s air ambulance we jumped at the chance. The team already do a sterling job, but if we can help them to be more efficient and responsive to emergency callouts, then we are delighted to help.’
Tracy Grunwell, fundraising manager for WNAA said:
“It’s fantastic to see the CAAT getting involved and donating £25,000 for this incredibly worthy cause. The air ambulance is a vital service in this area and CAAT is doing a fantastic job to help keep it flying. The support that we receive makes a huge difference, not just to us but to the lives of the people we save, and I cannot thank you enough for supporting us”.
Grace Skelton, Chair of Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance Development Board added:
‘The benefits of an air ambulance to everyone cannot be denied. If you drive, play sport or just take your child to the park – you never know when you might need it and it is there for every single one of us. CAAT has been fantastic in their support of the upgrade of WNAA’s aircraft and we are delighted to have worked with them on this project.’
