Skydiver raises over £500 in one day

Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance are saying a big thank you to an intrepid skydiver after his jump raised over £500 in just one day of fundraising.

Nathan Webb won a skydive at UK Parachuting Sibson in a competition, and decided to start fundraising for us just a couple of days before the jump.

Nathan said: “The jump was a bit nerve-wracking beforehand, but as soon as I got to the edge of that plane the experience was amazing and I loved every second. Nothing can compare to the feeling of doing a dive!”

Each mission DLRAA run costs around £1,700 and the service is entirely funded by voluntary donations, so this money will help them continue their lifesaving work. Thank you to everyone who took part and sponsored Nathan.
