Our Supporter Thank Yous – February

We’ve seen Valentine’s pass us by and we’re heading towards Spring. The year may be going by fast, but this doesn’t stop all of our amazing fundraisers getting out there and doing a fantastic effort in raising awareness and funds for our vital services.


Chipping Warden Women’s Institute

£500 was raised by the incredible ladies of the Chipping Warden Women’s Institute who held a carol evening in December. With festive music, raffle prizes for all ages and refreshments, we can see why everyone was so keen to get involved. Thank you so much for the generous donations.

The Briars Pub

The Briars Staff and locals helps a family fun day in 2018 which included a raffle, games and bouncy castle which was kindly donated for the day. They raised £921 for all their efforts so we wish to thank the organisers; Rhia Bailey, Tony Bates, Naomi Bryden, Lee Anderson, Dunken Redhead.

Mr & Mrs Souster

For Mr Souster’s 80th birthday, they held a coffee morning with homemade cakes and a party, at which they asked for donations to The Air Ambulance Service rather than gifts. The total amount was £159.49 which we’re so grateful for – thanks to everyone that donated.

J Van Vilet Northampton – Christmas Raffle

A very big Thank you to Wendy and the Team from J Van Vliet, Northampton and all of the cash and carry wholesale customers that bought tickets for their fundraising raffle.

A fantastic £277.70 was raised for Warwickshire Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, Volunteers Heather Burton & Richard Durham were delighted to receive the money on behalf of the charity

Doug Evans from Rugby Rokeby Lions 

The biggest Thank You to rugby Rokeby Lions who’ve hosted their annual challenge event which involves a 5k walk around Draycote Water. The raised a whopping £5,000 for us which will contribute in so many ways to support our missions.

Saxonfields Equestrian

£600 was raised from the 2018 dressage show which involved collections took place across the show days. Thank you to those who donated to raise an incredible about of money and to following for organising the event;

Sainsbury’s, Dunchurch

Thank you to Rachel Fordham for organising a bucket collection in store which raised £344.98 and to all the volunteers who helped to achieve this amazing amount of money that goes towards our services.

Derby & District Sugar Craft Guild

Thank you to those who’ve helped raise over £2000 for The Air Ambulance Service by creating a donating 29 Christmas cakes. Two of the cakes were raffled off by Janet and Michael Framp and raised £500.

Old Laurentians

Thank you to Andrew Spriggs and Dean Cobley who held a collection in memory of former player Dom Marsella and raised £565 for The Air Ambulance Service.
