Medical practice and school join forces
Lifesaving local charity Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA) has received a £593.98 donation after a school and a medical practice joined forces to raise money.
A cheque was presented to Collette Richardson, fundraising coordinator for Derbyshire and Yorkshire, on May 1st 2015.
Staff from Park Medical Practice raised money through a valuation day run by Hanson’s Auctioneers, while Debbie Cotton from Alderwasley Hall School raised money through running a fun run.
Between them, Park Medical Practice and Alderwasley Hall School have raised £2,700 to date for DLRAA’s vital service.
Collette said: “We rely entirely on public donations to so we’re thrilled with how much was raised. I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated – their generous support will help launch our vital service.”
