Doncaster schoolgirl needs your vote for Big Thank You Awards
Since lockdown began, titles across the Yorkshire region have heard about and written about the heroic efforts of so many inspiring people who have gone above and beyond to help in their local communities during this difficult time.
JPI Media launched the inaugural Big Thank You Awards in Yorkshire and #TheCrew member – Chloe Hadley – has made the Top 20.
It is now up to the public to pick the top ten, and Chloe deserves your vote!
Eight-year-old Chloe is a bright, enthusiastic, motivated and truly wonderful young lady who has gone above and beyond to raise awareness and funds to support the vital work of the Children’s Air Ambulance (TCAA) and improve the lives of critically ill babies and children in Doncaster and beyond.
From Stainforth in Doncaster, Chloe is a member of #TheCrew– a children’s club linked to TCAA – and has been raising vital funds for over a year and has raised over £4,000 for the lifesaving charity!
Chloe has arranged numerous tolmbolas, raffles, auctions, bingo nights and plenty more. She arranged a ‘Green Day’ at school which included a circus skills expert and animal handling experience for her fellow pupils, and she took part in the 2.6 Challenge- taking on 26 different challenges in one day.
Her commitment to the Children’s Air Ambulance is unwavering and truly inspirational, and even during the Covid-19 pandemic, she has continued to shine bright with her determination to raise funds for the frontline service when it needed it most.
Chloe says that as part of #TheCrew “I can help to raise awareness and much-needed funds to keep the Children’s Air Ambulance flying and transporting critically ill babies and children to the specialist care they need.”
“I am really pleased to be nominated and very excited to be shortlisted, I feel even more proud of what I have been doing and it spurs me on to achieve even more for the charity!”
Youth Development Manager for TCAA, Anoushka Brown, added: “Nothing we have asked of Chloe is too much trouble – from being the face of #TheCrew on the posters in our Doncaster superstore to recording a video to be used on our social media channels encouraging other young people to join #TheCrew.
“Chloe is a very talented and determined young lady and her dedication to the charity has been fantastic. She continues to be an absolute pleasure to support and we believe she is a truly deserving winner of this award, so please do vote for her.”
The Top 10 winners will be announced during a virtual awards ceremony on Friday 11 December at 7pm, where the Big Thank You winners will receive their awards.
