Derbyshire business raises more than £3,000 to support local lifesaving charity

Groupe SEB based at GXO Logistics in West Hallam, Derbyshire have raised more than £3,000 to support the lifesaving missions of the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA).
Groupe SEB is a French consortium that produces small appliances and is the world’s largest manufacturer of cookware – associated brands are Krups, All-Clad, Rowenta and Tefal. Their contract with GXO Logistics began in 2016 and over the course of a year the operation can successfully process approximately 4.5 million units outgoing and 4.2 million units incoming.
They held a product sale for stock clearance between 04 December and 11 December 2025 with all proceeds supporting the lifesaving charity. They raised a total of £3,030 to support the lifesaving missions of the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance.
“Groupe SEB are incredibly proud to support the local charity in conjunction with GXO Logistics and hope that the vital funds we raised will help to keep their helicopters flying 24/7, 365 days a year,” said a spokesperson for Groupe SEB.
Within minutes, DLRAA’s critical care crews can be on the ground delivering pre-hospital emergency care and giving patients the very best chance of survival – this vital service relies entirely on donations to raise the £2,300 needed for each lifesaving mission, as the charity receives no government or National Lottery funding.
Tracey Jones, Community Fundraising Executive for Derbyshire said:
“We would like to say thank you to Groupe SEB for raising an amazing £3,030 to support our lifesaving charity.
“We rely on support from the local community and businesses just like this to raise the vital funds to keep our helicopters flying.”
