May 2023. It was from that moment that Hannah knew something wasn\u2019t quite right with her baby.<\/p>\n<p>An ultrasound revealed that Isabella\u2019s heart rate wasn\u2019t as it should be. Within an hour, Hannah had been prepped for an emergency caesarean to deliver her baby girl prematurely at 28 weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Weighing just 2.2lb, Isabella was blue-lighted to Southmead Hospital where she was cared for in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for over two weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Still fragile and needing specialist care, Isabella was transferred in a bespoke onboard incubator by the National Children\u2019s Air Ambulance and the Southwest Neonatal Advice and Retrieval Team, to the Royal Cornwall Hospital, closer to home.<\/p>\n<p>Isabella spent a further two months in the local hospital\u2019s neonatal unit, before returning home to her
