Can pay for childrens ear defenders to protect ears from our noisy rotors.
Could pay towards fuels for flying a child to the specialist care they deseperately need
Can pay towards oxygen to help critically ill children breathe
Within hours of being born by C-Section
at Royal Cornwall Hospital, Oscar was struggling to breathe, and his oxygen levels had plummeted to dangerous levels.
His doctors suspected he had a rare heart malformation, and after consulting with the specialist paediatric cardiac team at Bristol Children’s Hospital, it was decided to transfer Oscar there to get the urgent care he needed – 168 miles away.
“It was the first time in three years that a baby had been born in Cornwall with the condition and the doctors in Bristol said they wanted Oscar there within 48 hours. It was awful.”
Without donations, the Children’s Air Ambulance would not have been able to ‘Say Yes’ and help save Oscar. Each rescue mission costs over £3,500, but your donation today, whatever the amount, will ensure we help more critically ill babies like Oscar.
