British Pepper and Spice use their spare thyme to raise £9,910.00 for WNAA
Northamptonshire’s British Pepper and Spice, a leading manufacturer of herbs and spices in the UK, visited the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) base in Coventry to present a cheque for an incredible £9,910.00 to our lifesaving service.
The team at British Pepper and Spice held many activities throughout 2019 to raise funds for our charity, from monthly prize draws, director’s fines, quiz nights and Ride London participation, to an abseil down Northampton’s lift tower! The team even held three recycling days which contributed an amazing £5,081.00 to the final £9,910.00.
British Pepper and Spice haven’t stopped there, they have also elected to support us as their charity of the year for 2020.
Rachael Bouch, MD at British Pepper and Spice commented: “We have all loved our visit today; to meet the team, learn more about the air ambulance, see it put into practice and just feel humbled by the whole experience.
“It was a timely visit too with us announcing our charity of the year for 2020 and am so thrilled that it’s the air ambulance again. The Charity Committee are excited about continuing to partner with WNAA and today’s visit has definitely inspired us to do more.”
WNAA Community Fundraising Executive, Stacey Randall, added: “Our lifesaving service is funded entirely by donations, so we would like to thank British Pepper & Spice for their support and amazing fundraising amount in 2019 – and for also choosing to support us again in 2020.”
