Maria was the first woman (solo racer) in the history of the Isle of Man motorcycle races to stand on the podium when she took third place in the Ultra Lightweight category of the 2005 Manx Grand Prix.
Bruce has been a been a friend and supporter of the charity for many years. He has frequently attended fundraising events and in 2016 is hosting an open air cinema night and firework extravaganza. He is an entrepreneurial chemist and has captained the British Elephant Polo team.
Grand National Jockey Winner Jason Maguire pledged his support five months after the charity helped save his life. Jason sustained serious abdominal injuries at a race meeting in Stratford-Upon-Avon in March 2014 and was provided with advanced pre-hospital care and pain relief before being airlifting to University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire.
Former Deputy Keeper of the Privy Purse, Sir John Parsons became an ambassador for the charity in 2015.
