- How you can help
In the last 12 months you might have seen our helicopter in the skies above you, or seen us out on the streets in our night cars. During this time we attended 3,322 rescue missions.
Could you donate today and help keep us out there saving lives in 2017?
2016 was another milestone year for us. We began delivering intensive care by land as well as air. Now, every night, our night car service attends an average of three calls for help in the local community. We also attended our 25,000th rescue mission since our service began in 2003. That incredible number simply wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of local people like you.
Your ongoing support means so much to all our crew and the people we save. 365 days a year, day and night – our crew must be ready whenever and wherever they are needed. It is a sad fact that, in the months ahead many people in your local community, will be involved in accidents on the roads and sports fields or suffer terrifying medical emergencies.
Whether we are saving lives by air or by road, we know we couldn’t do this without you. It’s your kindness that literally lifts us into the air.
The Air Ambulance Service does not receive any government funding. Our lifesaving missions are fuelled by your donations.
