Thank you, Stuart Maun!

The Air Ambulance Service is saying a big thank you to Stuart Maun who raised an incredible £3,050.00 by undertaking the Blackpool Marathon, overcoming the tough conditions the day brought to have completed the course and smashed his fundraising target! We’re delighted to hear Stuart is now fully recovered, and looks forward to going out for a run again in the near future. Well done, Stuart!

Whilst Stuart needed a Woolly hat in Blackpool, down in London our other Runners were suffering in the heat. Last weekend saw thirty runners, sporting the colours of Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA), Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) and the Children’s Air Ambulance, raise over £48,000 for the national Children’s Air Ambulance and two local air ambulance charities after overcoming sweltering heat at the 2018 London Marathon.

We want to pay a HUGE thanks to all our fundraisers for their support and dedication which will go a long way to helping save lives.
