Santa’s sleigh tour

Santa’s on a tour of Coventry – and raising money for your local air ambulance.

The Rotary Club’s ever-popular Santa’s Sleigh raises thousands of pounds for charity each Christmas. This year our charity and Coventry Myton Hospice are the two main beneficiaries.

The five Rotary Clubs of Coventry and Rotaract are behind this fantastic fundraising initiative. It began on December 1 and continues until December 23. You can find out where the tour is stopping by clicking here .

Last night air ambulance volunteers joined Rotary Club members on a tour of the streets of Styvechale, collecting a fantastic £1,003. Our volunteers also helped out with collections in Longford last Wednesday, collecting a brilliant £958.

So far, almost £9,000 has been collected during the tour and there are still plenty of collections left to add to the amount raised.

The Air Ambulance Service does not receive any government funding. Our lifesaving missions are fuelled by your donations.
