2.6 Challenge Donations Reaches over £20,000

It’s been highly promoted across social media and has seen an amazing response from those itching to support charities following the cancellation of the London Marathon, but the 2.6 Challenge has exceeded all expectations for many charities, including us!

Our fabulous supporters have pulled together to take on a whole range of were and wonderful challenges all in aid of raising money for our local service and national Children’s Air Ambulance and we can’t thank them enough!

So, how have people raised money for us?

Our #TheCrew Members have been in full force with their efforts – here are just some of the incredible achievements;

We’ve also had some amazing efforts from other supporters who have personally experienced our services and understand how vital they are, as well as those who simply believe in what we do and the impact we have on peoples lives.

A whole school has been raising money through individual efforts in aid of the 2.6 challenge. Ashfold School in Aylesbury has raised an incredible amount 101% of their target achieving over £1000 for the Childrens Air Ambulance.

Our own Crew took to the tarmac to run the marathon distance of 26.2 miles at our Base. We also had Adam, our Critical Care Paramedic completing 260km on his turbo bike. You can read more of their story here.

You can still donate to the challenge to help raise even more towards our services.
